Daniel McCain is the author of the recently released book How the Tennis Gods Serve. He also is the author of How the Tennis Gods Move, Functional Training for Tennis, and Momentum. McCain played for and graduated from the University of Michigan. He has served as Division 1 College Coach, an Academy Director, a WTA & ATP Tour Coach, a USTA Manager of Player Development, and Club Director. Both he and his students have won national titles and gold balls as junior players and dozens of them have gone on to receive college scholarships. He was awarded the 2012 USTA Teaching Pro of the Year, the 2013 PTR Mid-Atlantic Teaching Pro of the Year, the, the 2014 PTR Member of the Year, and the 2019 USPTA Teaching Pro of the Year. He resides in Williamsburg Virginia with his wife, 3 year older daughter and 2 Cavalier spaniels.
